On arrival to Ljubljana, you will be met by our representative at the airport for a transfer to your hotel in the city’s grand old district. Depending on what time you arrive, the day is yours to enjoy at leisure. In the evening, meet your guide and fellow walkers over an indulgent Slovenian dinner.

Start your day with an immersive tour of Ljubljana, led by an expert guide who’ll introduce you to the city’s unique Art Nouveau, or secesija, architecture. Explore Ljubljana Castle and other iconic landmarks that make this city unforgettable. As evening falls, dive into Slovenian cuisine with a hands-on cooking class where you'll prepare and savour a traditional meal made from ingredients picked fresh from a nearby market.

Head to the scenic Gorenjska region and experience Bled’s sparkling magic. Sail on a traditional Pletna boat to the island Church of Mary’s Assumption, then visit Bled Castle, known for its panoramic views. After a delightful lunch, wander along Lake Bohinj and visit the stunning Mostnica Waterfall. Check in at Hotel Bohinj for a cozy evening.

Explore the panoramic Zajamniki pasture on the Pokljuka plateau, with its charming cottages and sweeping meadows. Continue past Javornica, Spodnje Podjelje, and Jereka, winding through Češnjica until reaching the trailhead in Srednja vas.

Today’s adventure begins in the charming village of Kranjska Gora as we ascend the splendid Vršič Pass, the highest in the Eastern Julian Alps. Proud pines and soothing mountain streams line our path, leading to the Russian Chapel—a moving wooden memorial built by prisoners of war. After a hearty lunch at Erjavčeva Koča hut, opt for a hike to the Vršič summit. In the evening, enjoy a well-earned feast crafted by a local chef and paired with fine Slovenian wines.

Upon crossing into Italy's Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, your adventure takes on an international flair. The day wraps up in the enchanting city of Trieste, where you'll stay at a waterfront hotel with stunning views.

Refuel with lunch at a local restaurant before delving into the curious exhibits at the Castello Miramare Museum. The evening is yours to relax and soak in the enticing surrounds at your leisure.
